The major and council join many other politicians to take the road in supporting many groups and organizations they can’t afford to support. They continue to be lured into paying more for services, as self seving administrators claim a need for more money. The tread mill continues. They do not seem to make the economic connection between raising tax and increasing other costs, like the cost of rent, the cost of housing etc. The city, then the province and then the canadian government keep stacking tax on tax, fee on fee, to steal money from the hands of average canadians and spend it on groups and organizations that feed off our money. It is time for a tax revolt to support the elderly and others who don’t have more money to pay.
